An Overview of the Company Over the Past 42 Years"

1983Establishment of Ceywater
Two esteemed Sri Lankan engineers set out to establish a company specializing in engineering consultancy services, with a dedicated focus on advancing Sri Lanka’s infrastructure development. -
1987
First ADB-Assisted Project
Provided engineering consultancy services for the Second Water Supply Sector Project, supported by the Asian Development Bank (ADB). This project was executed in collaboration with Mott MacDonald International, UK, for the National Water Supply & Drainage Board in Sri Lanka. -
1988
Partnership with NSC
Became an Associate Consultancy Services Partner of NSC Consultants, Japan, contributing to the design, preconstruction, and construction supervision of the Towns North of Colombo Water Supply Scheme. This project was funded by the Japanese Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), now JICA. -
2009
Entry into the Middle East Market
Provided consultancy services for the detailed design and construction drawings of the Al Amerat Wastewater Disposal Project in Oman. -
2010
Recognition Award
In recognition of outstanding contributions, Ceywater received a Certificate of Achievement for its notable participation in the 2010 Be Inspired Award program. -

Entry into the South Asian Market
Provided engineering consultancy services for the Feasibility Study Report and Preliminary Design of the Chattogram WASH Improvement Project. -

2024
Delivering Expertise on a Landmark Water Project in Oman
Commenced providing consultancy services for the Design and Construction Supervision of the Water Supply System to Wadi Mistal in Nakhal Wilayat—a major project by the Oman Water & Wastewater Services Company (OWWSC). This ongoing initiative further strengthens our footprint in the Middle East and underscores our role in advancing vital water infrastructure in the region. -
